Canada visitor options and what each one requires
Canada offers two main routes for visitors from India — the standard TRV for tourists and family visits, and the Super Visa for parents and grandparents of citizens or permanent residents. We identify the right route and prepare a complete, genuine file.
Visitor visa (TRV)
The standard Temporary Resident Visa for tourism, family visits and short business travel. Requires a clear purpose, genuine funds and convincing evidence that you will return to India when your authorised stay ends.
Super Visa
A multi-entry visa allowing parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to stay for up to 5 years per visit, renewable from outside Canada. Requires the Canadian host child or grandchild to meet a minimum income threshold and you must hold qualifying medical insurance.
Invitation and host documentation
A properly prepared invitation from your Canadian host — including their status, address, income evidence and their commitment to support your stay — strengthens both TRV and Super Visa applications significantly.
Genuine funds
Bank statements showing a real, steady balance sufficient for the trip. We help you present your own funds and any host support in a clear, honest format that matches what IRCC expects.
Ties to India
Employment, business registration, property and family responsibilities documented clearly to demonstrate you have compelling reasons to return home after your visit.
Super Visa medical insurance
The Super Visa requires a minimum of CAD $100,000 in emergency medical insurance from a Canadian insurance provider, valid for at least one year from the date of entry. We guide you on obtaining a qualifying policy.
What an officer is checking
Every Canadian visitor decision turns on the same core question the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act sets out: is this applicant likely to leave Canada at the end of their authorised stay?
Genuine, sufficient funds
A real, steady bank balance over several months — not a sudden large deposit made the week before applying. The amount must credibly cover the entire trip and your return journey.
Strong ties to India
Your job, business, property and family responsibilities in Punjab are the most persuasive evidence that you will return. Officers weigh these heavily against the risk of overstay.
Clear, believable purpose
Specific plans — who you are visiting, where you will stay, how long and at whose cost. Vague purposes invite scepticism, particularly from visa offices that process high volumes from India.
Verified invitation and host status
For family visits and Super Visa applications, the Canadian host's status, income and invitation must be genuine, current and properly documented — not a casual letter without supporting evidence.
From your first call to your Canada visit
A clear, step-by-step process with no surprises. Processing times below are typical ranges — IRCC volumes and visa office workloads can move them.
Free eligibility and purpose check
We review your travel purpose, family situation, funds and any prior visa history to advise honestly whether a TRV or Super Visa gives you the better application — before you spend anything on fees or insurance.
Personalised document checklist
A tailored list covering bank statements, ITR, employment or business proof, invitation letter, host documents and — for the Super Visa — the required insurance policy. We explain why each item matters. Gathering this typically takes 2–4 weeks.
File building and honest review
We prepare the application, any written statements and the invitation package, then review the full file the way an IRCC officer would — fixing genuine weak points with real evidence, never with fabricated documents.
Online submission and biometrics
We complete the IRCC online application accurately, arrange your biometrics appointment at the nearest VAC, and ensure the submission is consistent and complete so it does not generate unnecessary processing queries.
Decision and pre-travel support
Once the visa is approved, we confirm the permitted duration, entry conditions and what to carry at the Canadian port of entry — and for Super Visa holders, explain the rules around extending your stay from within Canada.
Why Canadian visitor and Super Visa applications fail — and how we prevent it
The most common reason Canadian visitor visas are refused for applicants from India is straightforward: the officer is not satisfied you will leave. Thin ties to India, vague travel plans, sudden large bank deposits and poorly prepared host invitations all send the same signal — and dishonest agents who dress up weak profiles with inflated statements or fake employment letters only make matters worse, leaving a fraud flag that can harm every future application.
For Super Visa applicants, the additional requirements — the host child's income threshold and the qualifying medical insurance — are strictly checked. Missing or incorrect insurance, or a host income that falls below the current Low Income Cut-Off, will result in a refusal that a stronger reapplication can easily avoid. We prepare both the applicant's and host's side of the file correctly from the start, and we tell you honestly if your profile needs work before you apply.
- Genuine, steady bank statements — no sudden deposits or borrowed funds
- Real ties to India evidenced: job, business, property, family responsibilities
- Host invitation prepared correctly with current status, address and income proof
- Super Visa: qualifying medical insurance (min. CAD $100,000) arranged and verified
- Super Visa: host child or grandchild income checked against current LICO thresholds
- No fabricated documents — if the profile needs strengthening, we say so before you apply
Questions about Super Visa
A standard Temporary Resident Visa is typically issued for multiple entries over up to 10 years, but each entry is normally authorised for up to 6 months. The Super Visa is a long-stay option exclusively for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents — it allows stays of up to 5 years per visit and can be renewed from outside Canada. The Super Visa also has additional requirements: the host's income must meet a minimum threshold and the parent or grandparent must hold qualifying Canadian medical insurance.
The host child or grandchild must meet the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) plus 30% for the size of their household, as set by Statistics Canada and updated periodically by IRCC. We confirm the current threshold for your host's family size before you apply, so there are no surprises.
You need a minimum of CAD $100,000 in emergency medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company, valid for at least one year from your planned entry date. The policy must cover healthcare, hospitalisation and repatriation. We guide you on obtaining a qualifying policy before you apply.
There is no mandatory waiting period, but reapplying with an unchanged file almost always produces the same refusal. We first identify exactly why the officer was not satisfied, strengthen your genuine ties, funds or purpose evidence accordingly, and then rebuild the application to address those specific concerns.
Not by itself — having family in Canada is a normal reason to visit. What matters is that the rest of your file demonstrates you are a genuine temporary visitor: sufficient funds, strong ties to India and a clear plan to return. A well-prepared application with a credible invitation and honest ties evidence addresses this directly.
