What you'll need
An honest profile check before you apply saves time, money and disappointment. Here is what Immigration NZ and institutions typically look for.
Academic record
A solid 10th and 12th result relevant to your chosen course. Gaps in study or work are not disqualifying but must be explained honestly in your application.
English test score
Typically IELTS 6.0–6.5 overall with no band below 5.5 or 6.0 depending on the institution and course; PTE equivalent accepted widely. *Confirm current requirements.
Genuine funds
Immigration NZ requires evidence of funds covering tuition and living costs — currently approximately ₹8–12 lakh per year for living alone, plus tuition. Funds must be genuine and held in your name or a parent's name with a clear source. *Confirm current official amounts.
Genuine study intent
A credible, personal explanation of why this course, this institution and New Zealand — not a templated answer. We help you tell your true story, which is always the strongest one.
From first counselling to campus in New Zealand
Plan for a 6–12 month lead-time before your intake. Starting early is the single biggest advantage you can give yourself.
Profile review & shortlist
We assess your marks, gaps, budget and career goal, then shortlist genuine NZ institutions and courses with a written cost breakdown in rupees covering tuition, living and visa fees.
English test
We advise on IELTS or PTE, the target score for your chosen institution, and a realistic preparation plan. No fake scores — Immigration NZ and institutions both verify results directly.
SOP, documents & application
We help you write a truthful, personal Statement of Purpose and assemble transcripts, certificates and references. Consistent, genuine documents are what earn offers and survive visa scrutiny.
Offer, funds & visa file
Once you have a genuine offer letter, we explain exactly what funds you need, for how long they must be held, and how to present them correctly — then build your complete student-visa application.
Visa lodgement & decision
We lodge your application, respond to any requests for further information, and keep you updated. Processing typically runs 4–8 weeks; *confirm current Immigration NZ processing times.
Why our New Zealand knowledge is your advantage
New Zealand is the country we know better than any other — our work-permit team has spent years learning its institutions, its immigration system and its labour market from the inside. That depth means we can give you genuinely useful course advice, not just a list of universities, and realistic guidance on where a NZ qualification can take you after graduation.
We will never recommend a course because it pays us more, and we will never inflate your funds or coach you to say something untrue. If your profile is not ready for a particular institution or intake, we say so and show you what to fix first. An honest assessment today saves your family's money and your future.

Questions about New Zealand
Immigration New Zealand generally requires IELTS 5.5–6.5 overall depending on your course and institution, with minimum band scores also applying. Your institution's English requirement may be higher than the visa minimum. We confirm the exact score for your specific course and provider — and PTE Academic is accepted as an alternative at most institutions. *Confirm current official requirements before applying.
You must show genuine evidence of funds covering tuition and living costs. Living-cost requirements are set by Immigration NZ and are currently approximately NZD 15,000 per year (roughly ₹7.5–9 lakh at current rates), plus your full tuition fees. Funds must be genuine — in your name or a parent's — with a clear, verifiable source. We never help with show-money or borrowed funds. *Confirm current official amounts with Immigration NZ before applying.
Students on a full-time course at a recognised institution are generally permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during term and full-time during scheduled holidays, subject to your visa conditions. We explain the current rules for your specific visa and course at counselling. *Confirm current work conditions with Immigration NZ.
New Zealand offers a post-study work visa for eligible graduates, with the permitted duration depending on your qualification level and how long your programme was. Degree and above graduates from a New Zealand institution typically qualify for a longer stay-back period. We advise on this honestly at the shortlisting stage so you choose a qualification that supports your plans. *Confirm current rules with Immigration NZ.
Many NZ institutions offer pathway programmes and diploma courses that have different entry requirements from degree-level study. We give you an honest profile review first — if your marks mean a direct degree entry is unrealistic right now, we show you the genuine pathway to get there, including foundation or diploma routes, rather than pushing you into a course you are unlikely to complete successfully.
